Biography
His research interests pertain to the study of historical and long-term fisheries exploitation in space (open sea and lagoons) and time; food web modelling of the Greek Seas and trophic cascades triggered by overfishing and natural effects; fisheries management (fishing gear selectivity and competition, fishery tactics, fisheries in data-poor areas) and fisheries and maritime affairs on EU legislation. So far, he has contributed to 32 papers in peer-reviewed international journals, 4 publications in special editions and book chapters, 21 announcements in international congresses and co-authored 10 technical reports (5 funded from European Union).
