Biography
Stavros C. Constantinidis (‘47) has devoted most of his career to the textiles sector, where he developed one of the leading textiles groups in Greece, before divesting in 1985. Currently, his interests lie primarily in real estate ventures in Greece and Europe. Dr. Constantinidis is one of the school’s top contributors, with gifts that include 60 full scholarships and he is also the recipient of the 1999 Humanitarian and Civil Service Award. During his military service, Dr. Constantinidis served as a Greek Army officer in the Korean War. In addition, Dr. Constantinidis has served with distinction on numerous civil, educational and industrial boards, committees and commissions. Dr. Constantinidis received an undergraduate degree from the School of Chemical Engineering of Geneva University and a PhD from Basel University.
