Biography
Dr.Almoutaz Alkhier Ahmed , Family medicine specialist , Diabetologist with MSc in diabetes , PG. Diploma in diabetes and MRCGP[INT] , Department of family medicine – primary health care / national guard health affairs – Jeddah / Saudi Arabia. Dr.Almoutaz showed special interest in medical education and hold postgraduate certificate in medical education from Dundee university and membership of Royal Academy of medical educators – UK. He involved in quality management of diabetes care and being a member of the WONCA group of quality and safety .Dr.Almoutaz is an international speaker and succeed to published more than 100 papers in diabetes medicine in many international peer reviewed journal and wrote chapters in many international diabetes textbooks. Dr.Almoutaz is considered one of the experts on diabetes and diabetic foot care in the region.He is a member of many diabetes associations around the world.

Neonatal diabetes, type 1 diabetes, acute diabetes complications, chronic microvascular complications of type 1 diabetes ,treatment of pediatric diabetes, epidemiology of pediatric diabetes, psychological aspects of diabetes, and genetics of diabetes
