Biography
Dr. Xin-He Lai trained as a doctor, Ph.D. from Department of Clinical Microbiology of Umeå University, Sweden. Postdoctoral experience at Department of Molecular Microbiology & Immunology, Oregon Health & Science University, USA. Having worked at various institutions, such as National Institute for Communicable Disease Control and Prevention, Chinese Center for Disease Control and Prevention, Beijing, China; Department of Infectious Diseases, National Children’s Medical Research Center, Tokyo, Japan; Department of Microbiology, National Institute of Agricultural Science, Clermont-Ferrand, France. Now serve as professor at Department of Pediatrics & Institute of Translational Medicine in Wenzhou Medical University, China.
Research Interest
Bacterial isolation, characterization, taxonomy, pathogenesis, host-pathogen interaction. EHEC, Francisella, Streptococcus.
