Biography
Dr. Amin S. Azar is a research scientist at Scandinavia's largest independent research foundation, SINTEF, located in Oslo, Norway. He is also chair of a digital manufacturing company. He received his PhD degree from Norwegian University of Science and Technology in 2012 on dry hyperbaric GMAW of subsea pipelines. Since then, he has been involved in many national and international research projects. He has several journal publications in the field of welding and fracture mechanics as well as a number of conference contributions. His current focus is the emerging and futuristic technologies. Among these disciples, graphene technology, catalytic nano-particles and additive manufacturing of metallic materials can be mentioned.
