Doctor of science, optic, 2001. • PhD, Physic of semiconductor and dielectric, 1988. • Semi-conductor and dielectric, St. Petersburg Electrotechnical University, 1979. PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE 1979-2005: Employed at “S.I. Vavilov State Optical Institute”, St. Petersburg, Russia, in a variety research and management positions, included position of head of the laboratory of “Nanostructured semiconductor materials”. 2005 – present time professor, head of the chair of Engineering Photonics of University ITMO, Saint-Petersburg, Russia. AWARDS Medal named after Academician Lebedev, Russia, awarded March 26, 2010 for the “best results on applied physical optics”.
