Biography
Dr. Laura Mandelli has a post-doctoral research fellow position at the Department of Biomedical and Neuromotor Science, Institute of Psychiatry, University of Bologna, Italy. She is psychologist, psychotherapist and PhD in Human Psychobiology. She is lecturer of Psychiatry in several university courses and for the School of Psychiatry at the University of Bologna. She participated to several research projects founded by National and International associations. Her works mainly focus on psychosocial and biological determinants of major psychosis and affective disorders as well as response to psychotropic drugs and psychological interventions. To date, she is co-author of almost one-hundred published articles in indexed peer-reviewed journals and 5 book chapter. In the last years she has received prizes as Young scientist and she has been called as expert for the evaluation of scientific projects for the European Commission and other international funding agencies.
