Biography
I have been working in the Department of Materials Science and Engineering, Pukyong National University (PKNU) of Busan since August 1990. I received the B.S. and M.S. degrees from PKNU in 1979 and 1983, respectively, and the Ph.D. degree in strength of material from Yokohama National university, Japan in 1989. Currently, I have been working on improving strength of zirconia by surface modification, corrosion evaluation by an organic/inorganic hybrid coating solution, development and evaluation of structural ceramics with self-healing ability and strength evaluation and fracture behavior of structural pipes.
