Biography
His research activity includes expert systems, knowledge engineering in problems concerning bio and earth sciences, artificial neural networks and knowledge management. He has significant experience in knowledge engineering and in developing expert systems in the agricultural area. He has been participated in nation an European research project. He has also been the leader of a post doc research programme funded by the Greek Ministry of Education and EU for the development of an intelligent system for the identification of plant viruses based on biosensors and artificial neural networks
