Biography
Dr. Veronica Veses completed her Ph.D. in Molecular Microbiology (magna cum laude) in Universidad de Valencia (Spain, 2005). From 2006 to 2009 she worked as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow in the University of Aberdeen, United Kingdom. Since 2009 she is a Senior Lecturer in Microbiology and Genetics at Universidad CEU Cardenal Herrera (Spain). Dr. Veses is co-lead investigator of the UCH Oral Microbiology Group. Her research focuses on the influence of social and dietary habits on oral microflora. Dra Veses is author of several research papers, scientific reviews and oral presentations. She is an external expert for the European Center of Disease Control. Since 2011 she is the Director of the Biomedical Sciences Department at Universidad CEU Cardenal Herrera.
