Biography
Dr. Anthony Tzes is Professor and the recent Head (2009-02.2013) of the Electrical & Computer Engineering Department of the University of Patras (UPAT) in Greece. He is a graduate of UPAT (1985) and has received his M.Sc. and doctorate from the Ohio State University in 1987 and 1990, respectively. From 1990 till 1999 he was (tenured associate professor) with Polytechnic Institute of New York University. His research interests include Networked Controlled Systems, MEMs, Robotics, Mechatronics, Adaptive Control, Neural Networks and Fuzzy Logic Applications, Adaptive Fuzzy Control, Instrumentation and Embedded Systems.
