Biography
Konstantinos Eleftheriou is Assistant Professor at the Department of Economics of the University of Piraeus. He has been an Assistant Professor at the Business Administration School at the University of Abu Dhabi University, UAE from September 2011 until June 2014. He holds a PhD and a Master's degree in Business Administration at the University of Abu Dhabi, in Economics from the University of Essex in Great Britain and BSc in Economics from the University of Athens. His main research interests are focused on the study of the impact of taxation on the labor market, external influences and regional inequalities. Other interests include the financing of small and medium-sized enterprises and audit theory. His papers have been published in international journals such as Accounting and Business Research, Economics Letters, Journal of Small Business Management , Economic Modeling, Papers in Regional Science, and the Economics Bulletin.
