Biography
Mr. Nikolaos V. Georgopoulos is a Rector of the University of Piraeus, Professor of Business Policy & Strategy at the Department of Organization and Business Administration, as well as a scientific officer of the Interconnection Office of the same University. He has served as Vice Rector of Economic Planning and Development, as well as Chairman of the Department of Organization and Business Administration of Piraeus University. He holds a Master of Business Administration degree from the University of Macedonia, holds two postgraduate degrees from the University of Birmingham (MBA) and the London School of Economics (MSc in MIS), as well as a PhD from the University of Macedonia. He teaches at the Department of Business Administration and Management of the University of Piraeus undergraduate level in "Business Policy & Strategy", Information Systems Management, E-Commerce, Programming & Designing E-commerce Systems and Knowledge Management, and at Masters Degree in Strategic Management ',' Strategy & Quality ', and' Information Systems'. He has supervised more than 200 diploma courses in various Universities Postgraduate Programs. He has also supervised four PhD candidates who have successfully awarded PhDs from the Department of Organization and Business Administration while supervising two other candidates. He has published a number of scientific articles in international journals, and conferences. He has also written four books on Strategic Management, Information Systems and e-Business. His research interests focus on Business Strategy, Information Systems, e-Business, Knowledge Management and Strategic Information Systems. Mr. Nikolaos V.
