Biography
Konstantina Koutalidis is Assistant Professor at the Department of Economics at the University of Piraeus. He holds a Undergraduate Title from the Economics Department of the Athens University of Economics and Business and holds a "Minor" degree from the Department of Statistics of the same University and a Ph.D. degree from the Department of Economics of Iowa State University (ISU) Department of International and European Studies at the Athens University of Economics and Business. He has been an Associate Professor at the Department of Economic Sciences of the University of Peloponnese, and has also taught at Iowa State University, the London School of Economics, the University of Athens and the University of Ioannina. He has been a member of the Greek Open University since 2013. She has participated as a researcher in various research projects and she was the principal investigator of the Pythagoras Program, 2005-2006, "Foreign Direct Investment and Polytechnic Enterprises - National and Regional Attractors" co-funded by the European Central Bank. It has a number of distinctions in its assets. He is a special adviser to the European Judicial Training Center of the Hellenic Foundation for European and Foreign Policy (ELIAMEP). She has participated in more than 35 international conferences presenting her work and has also been a member of organizing committees of international conferences. He has supervised a range of doctoral theses as a member of a three-member or seven-member advisory committee, and currently supervises five doctoral dissertations as a member of a three-member committee. Her research projects concern Economic Growth and Growth, Foreign Direct Investment and Multinational Enterprises with an emphasis on technology and innovation issues, Small and Medium Enterprises and their internationalization with emphasis on technology and networks.
