Biography

Dimitris D. Vergados is Associate Professor at the Department of Informatics of the University of Piraeus. His research interests are located in the areas of computer and communications networks, telecommunication systems, cloud computing, image processing and analysis, digital cultural content management. The results of his research activity have been published in reputable international magazines, conferences and books. He has been a Editor-in-Chief, member of the Editorial Board, a Program Chair, a member of several International Technical Conference Program Committee (TPC), a reviewer of articles in international journals and conferences. He has been a member and evaluator of national and international committees and organizations.
