Dr. Hadjigeorgiou is a Professor of Neurology and a research neuroscientist of the Department of Neurology in the Faculty of Medicine of University of Thessaly, Greece. He graduated School of Medicine (MD), National & Kapodistrian University of Athens where he also got my Doctoral degree (both degrees with excellence). His postdoctoral training includes post-doctoral research fellowships in University of Milano, and Columbia University, New York in the field of genetics of metabolic myopathies and mitochondrial encephalomyopathies.
