Biography
Athanassios Lainas was born in Agrinion. He studied at the Faculty of Theology of the University of Athens and at the Panteion Higher School of Political Sciences, Department of Public Administration. With the support of the State Scholarship Foundation of Greece, he did postgraduate studies in the United Kingdom, where he got his Master of Arts Degree [in the field of Organisation, Planning and Management in Education] from the University of Reading, School of Education, and his Doctor of Philosophy Degree [in the field of Educational Administration] from the University of London, Institute of Education.
