Biography
Dr. Jäger is currently an Associate Professor of Pharmaceutical Chemistry and the Department Head of Clinical Pharmacy and Diagnostics of the Faculty of Life Sciences, University of Vienna, Austria. He is currently also Director of the Doctoral Studies Programme Life Sciences at the Faculty of Life Sciences.Dr. Jäger received his Ph.D.from the University of Vienna on majoring Pharmacokinetics and was a post- doctoral fellow in the laboratories of Dr.Leslie Benetat the Department of Biopharmaceutics,University of California, San Francisco, USA. Dr. Jäger has authored more than 210 publications in various areas of pharmacy, pharmacology and cancer research, several book chapters and owns three patents.His major research interests are in drug metabolism,transporters and pharmacokinetics.
