Biography
Dr Konstantinos Papadopoulos has a background in physiotherapy, exercise rehabilitation and healthcare sciences and has taught a variety of subjects in physiotherapy and allied health professions since 2010. Having a background in Physiotherapy, Konstantinos has always been interested in sports injuries, thus, he decided to expand his knowledge by studying an MSc course in Exercise Rehabilitation. During this course he contacted his first clinical study on knee pain. On successful completion of his MSc course he applied for a PhD Studentship in Healthcare Sciences and aimed to evaluate applied physiotherapy practice in NHS physiotherapy departments.
Research Interest
• Musculoskeletal conditions of upper and lower limb • Validation and cultural adaption of outcome measures i.e. questionnaires and scales for lower limb assessment and clinical tests • Significant interest in physiotherapy modalities in musculoskeletal conditions such as tennis elbow and knee pain • Keen on motional analysis research, Dynamometers, kinesio taping • Kinesiology and Kinesiotherapy
