Biography
Prof. Matthew Owen Howard has received his PhD (awarded with distinction) in Social Welfare, University of Washington, Seattle, WA, in the year of 1990. Currently, he is working as Distinguished Professor of Human Services Policy Information, School of Social Work, University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill. He is serving as an editorial member of several reputed journals like Journal of Addictive Diseases, Clinical Anesthesia, Interventional Pediatrics & Research, Psychiatry Open Access etc. He has authored more than 200 research articles/books. He is a member of American Association for the Advancement of Science, American Psychological Association, American Association of University Professors, International Society of Addiction Journal Editors etc. He has honored as 2016 Society for Social Work and Research Excellence in Research Award, Honorable Mention, Aaron Rosen Lecture, Society for Social Work and Research, 2015, Emily Harris Endowed Lecture, Wayne State University, November 6, 2014.
