Biography
Dr. Aytekin received his undergraduate degree in biology atDokuzEylul University in Turkey, and his M.Sc. and Ph.D. degrees in the Clinical Biochemistry department atCelal Bayar University in Turkey and in the Molecular Biology Department at Vienna University in Austria respectively. He received postdoctoral training on Pulmonary Hypertension in the Pathobiology department of Cleveland Clinic Hospital in USA. He was awarded an American Heart Association (AHA) Postdoctoral fellowship grant. He had submitted the grant entitled “Hyaluronan in Idiopathic Pulmonary Hypertension”.He also became research associate at Cleveland Clinic in 2010.
