Biography
His long range goal of research is to decipher the molecular mechanisms that regulate the progress of neurodegenerative diseases and to develop therapeutic intervention on the basis of such understanding. He has dedicated himself to the study of prion disease and published many research and articles, as well as book chapters. He has given a number of lectures and talks in the scientific conferences, academia, and private sectors. He is a regular member or a councilor for several national and international societies, and serves as editor and reviewer for many international journals.
