Biography
H.Y. Ngo is a professor at the Chinese University of Hong Kong. He graduated from the faculty of Social Science of CUHK, and obtained his M.A. and Ph.D. in Sociology at the University of Chicago. He joined the Department of Management of CUHK in 1991. He has a broad research interests, doing research in various areas such as gender studies, labor studies, organizational behavior, human resource management, and higher education. He has published more than 90 articles in more than 40 different academic journals. His current research interests include work life balance, careers, migration, and social issues in Hong Kong. Prof. Ngo also provides various services to the university and the local community on a voluntary base.
