Clare Sinton

Biography

 Clare is based at our Clifton and Ashton clinics. Specialising in Sport and Exercise Medicine with a Masters degree from Cardiff Metropolitan University, Clare has spent much of her time working abroad since! Most recently on the WTA tennis tour working with World Class athletes. She currently splits her time between working privately with German Fed Cup player, Julia Goerges on the tennis tour (ranking 62 in singles, 36 in doubles and aiming higher!) When home in Bristol, she enjoys providing musculoskeletal Physiotherapy in the clinic. She has spent the last 10 years working with top flight athletes in Championship football at Bristol City FC, International Field Hockey with the Welsh Ladies Squad and Prem team Clifton Ladies HC, GB Paralympic Skiing, and Regional Welsh Rugby Squad Llanelli Scarlets.  Clare has a keen interest in alternative therapies and often combines yoga principles and acupuncture, with sports massage techniques, manual therapy and other aspects of modern medicine. She believes it is important to rehabilitate the whole person...body, mind and soul! Both male and female clients alike appreciate her pragmatic approach to provide varied and individualised treatment plans. She looks forward to rehabilitating you through your injuries, niggles and imbalances...hey you could even look in to some preventative work before it even happens!!!
