Biography
Ben Iaquinto is an Australian human geographer with research and teaching experience in the areas of tourism, sustainability, urban studies and social research methods. He completed his PhD at the University of Melbourne’s School of Geography where he investigated the relationship between sustainability practices, mobility and place with backpacker tourists as the empirical basis. He has held research positions with the National Urban Water Governance Program, Monash Sustainability Enterprises and Monash Sustainability Institute and has held teaching positions at Monash University, the University of Melbourne and Hong Kong Baptist University. He is a former academy member of the Sustainable Society Institute at the University of Melbourne and is currently on the steering committee of the Australian Mobilities Network.
