Biography
Dr. Ron Chi-Wai KWOK is Dean of Students in the Office of the Vice-President (Student Affairs), and Associate Professor in the Department of Information Systems of the City University of Hong Kong, and was Assistant Professor in the School of Management at the State University of New York at Binghamton (US) before joining City University of Hong Kong in 2002. He received two Teaching Excellence Awards (2005-06, 2012-13) from the City University of Hong Kong. Also, Dr. Kwok received the Best Paper Awards in the Hawaii International Conference on System Sciences (2000) and Outstanding Paper Award in the ED-MEDIA World Conference on Education Multimedia, Hypermedia & Telecommunications (2007 and 2011). Dr. Kwok has research articles published in several international refereed journals, including: Information & Management, Journal of Management Information Systems, Communications of ACM, IEEE Transactions on Systems, Man, and Cybernetics, Decision Support Systems, European Journal of Information Systems and Computers & Education etc. His research interest lies in the areas of health/fitness information systems, technology mediated learning, online collaborative games in education, knowledge integration, and e-leadership.
