Biography
Dr. Wai-Sum Lee is the Coordinator of the Phonetics Laboratory of the Department of Linguistics and Translation at the City University of Hong Kong. Her main research interest is in Chinese phonetics. She has carried out research projects on acoustics, articulation, and perception of the sounds of the Chinese dialects, namely Cantonese, Beijing Mandarin, and Hakka.
