Wan Sze Mei Selina

Biography

Dr. Wan received her doctorate degree from the School of Hotel and Tourism Management of the Hong Kong Polytechnic University. Prior to joining the City University of Hong Kong, Dr. Wan has obtained an extensive working experience in the hospitality and tourism industry. Being a market analyst at the New World Renaissance Hotel, she was managing the market intelligence for the hotel. Her research experience gained at the Hong Kong Tourism Board also provided her with a solid foundation in the hospitality and tourism statistics. Her research interests are sustainable tourism, destination marketing, hospitality and tourism management, and information management and technology applications. Dr. Wan is the Certified Hospitality Educator (CHE), which is recognized by the American Hotel & Lodging Association (AH&LA). She has obtained a Certificate in Hotel Industry Analytics (CHIA).
