Biography
Professor Wan’s research focuses on strategic management, international business, entrepreneurship, and research methods. His research has appeared in top tier journals including Academy of Management Journal, Accounting, Organizations and Society, Journal of International Business Studies, Journal of Management, Journal of Management Studies, Organization Science, and Strategic Management Journal. Prior to joining City University of Hong Kong, he was an associate professor and Trinity Company Professor of Management at Texas Tech University. Previously, he was an associate professor at Thunderbird School of Global Management. He has industry experiences in Hong Kong and California, and has taught at the undergraduate, graduate, MBA, professional MBA, and Ph.D. level
