Biography
Dr. Chunyi Zhi obtained his Ph.D. in physics from Institute for Physics, Chinese Academy of Sciences in 2004, specializing in the topic of property investigation of BCN nanostructures under the supervision of Professor Enge Wang. Then he moved to National Institute for Materials Science (NIMS) in Japan as a post-doctoral fellow, followed by an ICYS research fellow, researcher (faculty) and senior researcher (permanent). He began his academic appointment in the Department of Physics and Materials Science at the City University of Hong Kong in Dec-2012.
Research Interest
Dr. Chunyi Zhi’s research interests include wearable energy storage devices & sensors, BN/BCN nanostructures and polymer composites etc.
