Biography
Andrew qualified in 1987 from Edinburgh Dental School and worked in general dental practice before undertaking general and specialist training. Andrew worked for 22 years in a referral based Specialist Restorative Practice in Glasgow. He works clinically as a part-time Hospital Consultant with NHS Ayrshire and Arran. Postgraduate studies have resulted in a Master’s degree in Medical Law and Ethics and specialist registration in Restorative Dentistry and Prosthodontics. Andrew has an interest in dentistry in the developing world and is undertaking a PhD on healthcare ethics in this field. He is on the Clinical Advisory Group of a dental development NGO.
