Jane Merivale

Biography

Jane has worked full-time as a Dento-Legal Adviser since 2008. Jane worked in general dental practice for twenty-six years and owned her own practice for twenty years. She has been involved with Dental Protection since 1997 when she first started working as a Local Adviser. In 2004 Jane became an Associate Dentolegal Adviser, working in the office on a part-time basis whilst still in practice and studying for her law degree. She began working full-time as a Dentolegal Adviser in 2008. Jane is following developments with the GDC's Revalidation programme on behalf of Dental Protection. She is an accredited member of the MPS Education Faculty and regularly delivers ‘Mastering Your Risk’ workshop and has been responsible for developing a series of educational discs (Communicating in Dentistry and Record Keeping) in conjunction with ‘Smile On’.
