Yvonne Shaw

Biography

Yvonne qualified from Leeds in 1990 and worked in general dental practice for 18 years. She obtained the LLM in Legal Aspects of Medical Practice in 2000 and completed the DPDS in 2004. Whilst working in clinical practice, Yvonne developed an interest in orthodontics and alongside general practice, worked as a clinical assistant in both hospital and orthodontic practice. She was a member of Leeds LDC for eight years. Yvonne started working for Dental Protection in 2008 as an Associate Dentolegal Adviser and since 2011 has worked as a full-time Dentolegal Adviser.
