Biography
Dr Foo graduated from the Faculty of Medicine, University of Hong Kong in 1978 with his primary medical degree. He qualified in Clinical Oncology in 1985. In 1993, he was appointed Consultant in Radiotherapy & Oncology (now called Clinical Oncology) in Queen Elizabeth Hospital. His main clinical interests are breast cancer, prostate cancer and psychosocial care. Apart from his clinical work, Dr Foo was the Director of the Hong Kong Cancer Registry from 1993 to 2004. Relevant to this aspect of work he obtained a Diploma in Biostatistics & Epidemiology from the Chinese University of Hong Kong. He is currently Director of Radiotherapy & Oncology in Hong Kong Baptist Hospital.
