Heidi Higson

Biography

 Heidi, originally from England, has lived in Asia for 17 years, the majority of that time in Hong Kong. Before coming to live in Asia, she worked as a Personal Assistant for a company of architects in England. Heidi has a love for ballet, jazz and contemporary dance and they have been hobbies throughout her life. She also has a passion for skiing. After Heidi's first baby was born 15 years ago, she experienced her first Pilates mat classes with Dawnna Wayburne. Her love for Pilates grew and she commenced her studies to become a Pilates Instructor in 2002 with Isofit. She is certified in Polestar Studio and Gyrotonic and Gyrokinesis Level 1 and has been an Instructor at Isofit since 2004. Heidi is passionate about teaching and sharing her knowledge. She enjoys the journey of helping people achieve their goals, whether it be to help alleviate their aches and pains, helping to rehabilitate injuries, improving fitness, strength, flexibility and body awareness. Heidi feels Pilates and Gyrotonic offers so many great benefits and says "I think its one of the best ways to attain and retain a strong youthful flexible body and help balance our muscles. It's a great workout for the mind too!"
