Ms. Ming-ni Tan

Biography

Ming Ni was trained in classical ballet from an early age under the auspices of Royal Academy of Dancing (RAD), UK in Malaysia.  She became an advocate of the Pilates exercise method in 2005 when she discovered the physical benefits it afforded her dancing and teaching. The more she learned and practised Pilates the more enthusiastic she became about teaching the Pilates method as she became aware of the positive impact it had on the individual's fitness and well-being.  She finished Polestar Pilates' rigorous Comprehensive Studio Pilates certification and having completed the Gyrotonic® Level 1 Foundation course, she continues to pursue her passion as a movement training professional. Ming Ni is also a registered ballet teacher with the RAD, and teaches ballet at DMR School of Ballet, Discovery Bay, Hong Kong.
