Biography
Dr Timothy Cheng obtained his Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery from the Chinese University of Hong Kong in 2009. Dr Cheng was then awarded a Rhodes Scholarship to pursue doctoral studies in cancer genetics at the University of Oxford, where he was a Junior Research Fellow and Junior Dean at Pembroke College. His doctoral research concentrated on the genetic predisposition to endometrial and colorectal cancer. He is currently conducting research on cell-free nucleic acids in plasma and urine.
