Biography

Xiaoqiang Yao, Ph.D., is the Professor in the School of Biomedical Sciences, The Chinese University of Hong Kong. He is one of active scientists in the area of Ca2+ signaling and ion channels in cardiovascular system. His interest are mechanosensation, ion channel phosphorylation regulation, arteriosclerotic development, cardiac stem cells, and cancer cell drug resistance.
