Biography
Pamela Chan Wong Shui, 70, has joined the Board as an Independent Non-executive Director since July 2013. Mrs Chan is vice-chairman of The Boys’ and Girls’ Clubs Association of Hong Kong and an independent director of the Travel Industry Council of Hong Kong. She had served on the board of The Community Chest of Hong Kong for many years, and is currently its vice-patron. Mrs Chan is also currently patron of Consumers International. She was chief executive of the Consumer Council, chairman of Hong Kong Deposit Protection Board, deputy chairman of the Hong Kong Baptist University Council and the Court, chairman of the governing committee of Princess Margaret Hospital, and a member of the Law Reform Commission of Hong Kong, Hospital Authority, The Hong Kong Housing Authority and Estate Agents Authority. Mrs Chan is a graduate and an Honorary Fellow of The Chinese University of Hong Kong. She holds a Bachelor of Laws degree from Peking University.
