Biography
Dr. Leung obtained his PhD in Molecular and Developmental Genetics from the University of Hong Kong in 2003. After graduation, he received trainings under the mentorship of Prof Koichi Masuda and Professor Rocky Tuan, specializing in musculoskeletal regeneration and bioengineering. Since 2011, he has been appointed as the Director of the Intervertebral Disc Biology & Regenerative Engineering Program and has been a member of the Stem Cell and Regenerative Medicine Consortium and Centre for Reproduction, Development and Growth of the institute. He also served in the committee of the Orthopedic Research Society (ORS).
