Danny Ng

Biography

 Ir. Danny Ng, Director of Sustainability for Hong Kong, has over 16 years of consulting experience in sustainability planning studies and multi-disciplinary environmental engineering for infrastructure and building development, liaising with both government authorities and private clients. He currently manages more than 50 green building projects, and leads a team of green building specialists, building physics analysts and environmental professionals. Danny supervises various categories of green building accreditation (GFA concessions, revitalization of existing industrial buildings, etc.), sustainable planning development studies, energy conservation analysis and environmental management. He is an internationally recognized Chartered Environmental Engineer, Green Building professional, Registered Energy Assessor and Carbon Auditor specializing in green building accreditation (BEAM Plus/LEED), building physics analysis, energy audit, life cycle assessment, carbon audit and IAQ certification. He has led technical assessments for conducting energy simulation, indoor ventilation studies, natural daylight analysis, payback calculation of energy saving measures and cost-benefit analysis of low-carbon design. Danny also has extensive experience with environmental impact assessment (EIA), environmental monitoring and audit (EMA), acoustics, noise, vibration, waste management, land contamination and risk assessment.
