Biography
John Hesketh joined Serco in May 2017 with more than 25 years’ experience in engineering, construction and maintenance services. His experience includes project management of major construction projects, initially in the UK and then in Hong Kong on the transport links to Hong Kong’s international airport. Also in Hong Kong, John led the engineering solution for the winning bid for the first Management Operation Maintenance for the Tsing Ma Control Area comprising three long-span bridges and highway and tunnel infrastructure. John moved to Australia in 2001 where he was instrumental in the establishment and successful growth of Leighton Contractors’ transport O&M and facilities management businesses gaining extensive experience in outsourcing and public private partnerships. John has an MBA from Henley Management College and a first class honours degree in Civil and Structural Engineering from the University of Bradford.
