Biography
Dr. Wong received his BSc in Food and Nutritional Science and his MPhil (Master of Philosophy) in Biological Sciences, both from The University of Hong Kong. His graduate research involved the study of the metabolism and transport of flavonoids and hydroxycinnamic acids in humans at the University of Leeds where he received his PhD in Nutritional Biochemistry. After postdoctoral training in the US, he joined the Department of Medicine and Therapeutics, Chinese University of Hong Kong as a Research Assistant Professor. He is currently working on the identification of novel molecular targets and development of therapeutic agents for human gastrointestinal cancers.
