Biography
Dr. Denise Chan is a Research Assistant Professor at the Division of Infectious Diseases who has a special interest in antimicrobial resistance (surveillance, clinical and molecular epidemiology) and viral infections. Her research focuses on the detection, identification, and therapeutic monitoring of infectious diseases. Studies are directed toward understanding the mechanisms of drug resistance and transmission dynamics of viral infections.
