Biography
Professor Nelson Yeung has joined the Jockey Club School of Public Health and Primary Care at the Chinese University of Hong Kong as Research Assistant Professor since 2016. He received his PhD in Social and Health Psychology at the University of Houston in 2015. ​ Throughout the years, he has actively engaged in research examining the interplay among psychological processes, individual characteristics, cultural factors, and health outcomes in Asia-Pacific populations. ​ He was also a recipient of the American Psychological Association Dissertation Research Award in 2014, the Diversity Fund Graduate Travel Award of the 16th Annual Meeting of the Society for Personality and Social Psychology in 2015, and the Early Career Researcher Award of the International Society of Behavioral Medicine in 2016. ​
