Biography
Edward was born in Hong Kong. After his primary and secondary school education he went on to study dentistry in Dundee, Scotland and graduating in December 1987. While establishing, managing and running his own practice in England for the following 10 years, he attained the higher qualifications of DGDP from the Royal College of Surgeons of England (that became MFGDP(UK) later) and MGDS from The Royal College of Surgeons of Ireland . He also attended a yearlong training course on Dental Implants at the prestigious Eastman Dental Institute in London, England. He returned to Hong Kong in 1997 for family reasons and worked in one of the largest dental group practices, and met Sandra while working there. Their “patient-centered†practice philosophy and desire to pursue life-long continuing education brought them together to start Tam, Hulac and Partners Dental Ltd. in 2007, where they have been able to realize their shared dreams of how modern dentistry should be practiced. His main professional interests are in implant surgery and restorative dentistry. He frequently undertakes advanced training in these areas. In 2012 he was granted the Membership in General Dentistry (MGD) by the College of Dental Surgeons of Hong Kong Now that his son is studying at Winchester College in England, he has been spending a little more time on his ever-improving golf game. He also has passion for food, travel and fast cars.
