Idalina Silva

Biography

Before moving to Hong Kong in 2011 Idalina had been living in the UK for over 19 years, where she attended St Bart’s and Royal London School of Medicine & Dentistry and qualified as a Dental Nurse in 1994.She later gained a Distinction in Oral Health Education. In 2002, she received Diplomas in Dental Hygiene and Dental Therapy from the University of Wales School of Medicine and Dentistry. Upon qualification she gained further experience in Paedodontics, Periodontics and Special Needs at the same University, both as a hygienist and dental therapist. Idalina has worked in both Community Dental Healthcare and private practices in London’s Harley and Wimpole Street for over 7 years. She has been part of our team for nearly 2 years. She enjoys her job immensely and thrives on delivering top quality patient care and preventative advice to all her clients. She keeps up-to-date with current developments by attending conferences and lectures whenever she has an opportunity. Since moving to Hong Kong she has taken an interest in photography, dragon boating and hiking and enjoys all three when she has a chance
