Mike Tan

Biography

 Mike has operational and management experience in the publishing, events and online media industry across a large number of industry sectors. Currently based in UBM Asia's headquarters in Hong Kong, he has been with the company since 1994. During this time he successfully undertook a wide variety of management tasks, including as General Manager for UBM Asia's China business based in Shanghai, as General Manager for the trade show business in Singapore and Indonesia, plus the management of some of UBM Asia's major events and publications as well as corporate work including research and online development. In his current Business Development role he functions as part of a team seeking acquisitions, partnerships, collaborative opportunities and new launches, both to grow the business as well as strengthen the existing portfolio. Mike also has concurrent responsibility for the Beauty Group.
