Biography
Dr. Firth is the Chief Executive Officer and Founder of ASLAN Pharmaceuticals Pte Ltd., a leading Asian biotech company, and was previously the Head of Asia Healthcare Investment Banking at Bank of America Merrill Lynch. Prior to banking, Dr. Firth held a number of senior positions at AstraZeneca, including four years in the Asia-Pacific region and China, responsible for business development and strategic planning. Dr. Firth was recently nominated as one of Scrip Intelligence’s top 10 pharmaceutical leaders alongside top C-level executives from multinational pharmaceutical companies. Currently, Dr. Firth is also an Adjunct Professor at Duke-NUS Medical School, Singapore. Dr. Firth holds a PhD from Cambridge University in molecular biology and an Executive MBA from London Business School.
