Biography
Professor Gilberto K. K. Leung is a Clinical Professor and an academic neurosurgeon at the Li Ka Shing Faculty of Medicine, The University of Hong Kong (HKU). He graduated from the Medical College of St. Bartholomew’s Hospital, University of London in 1992, received post-graduate training in the UK, US and Hong Kong, and was awarded the Hallett Gold Medal (F.R.C.S.(London)), and the J. Douglas Miller Medal in Neurosurgery (C.S.H.K.). After 13 years of non-academic clinical services, he joined HKU in 2005 where he subsequently obtained two doctorate degrees of MS and a PhD. He is currently a part-time student in LLM (Medical Law and Ethics) at the School of Law, University of Edinburgh.

Neuro-oncology, endoscopic skull base surgery, neurotrauma, neuroregenerative therapy, and medical education
